I LIKE IT!!! 🫦💅🏼👩🏻‍🔬💄🏥🔬🧬 Happy International Day of Women and Girls in Science! 👩🏻‍🔬💕 I’m always incredibly grateful to live in a time where I can be a scientist and have incredible women role models 🥹✨ Today, I honor the brilliant women who came before us, who challenged the system, broke barriers, and paved the way so we could stand here confidently in our lab coats and our femininity. We are truly standing on the shoulders of giants. The powerful, resilient, and extraordinary women. 💗🔬 #womeninstem #internationalwomenandgirlsinscienceday #womeninscience #biomedicalscientist #femaledominatedfields

She chose science over spotlight. India forgot her. Science didn’t.🌿 #JanakiAmmal #IndianWomenInScience #ForgottenHeroes #ScienceLegacy #indiahistory Dr. E. K. Janaki Ammal was one of India’s greatest yet most overlooked scientists. A pioneering botanist and cytogeneticist she made significant contributions to plant genetics, especially in improving sugarcane varieties crucial to Indian agriculture. At a time when women were discouraged from higher education, she chose science over societal expectations, never marrying and dedicating her life entirely to research. She worked in India and abroad alongside leading scientists, yet she never sought fame or public recognition. When India needed her expertise, she returned to serve the country quietly, focusing on long-term scientific progress rather than personal glory. Dr. Janaki Ammal didn’t build a legacy through speeches or popularity — she built it through work. Her contributions continue to support Indian science and agriculture even if her name is rarely spoken today.

Why are Marie Curie’s notebooks still radioactive today? Because she spent years studying radioactive elements without knowing the long term dangers. Her research on Polonium and Radium led to the discovery of radioactivity, a breakthrough that transformed nuclear physics, chemistry, and modern medicine. Marie Curie became the first woman to win a Nobel Prize in 1903. She later became the first person ever to win two Nobel Prizes in two different sciences, Physics and Chemistry. During World War I, she developed mobile X ray units that helped doctors treat wounded soldiers on the battlefield. Her name was initially left out of the Nobel Prize nomination, but Pierre Curie insisted the discovery was their joint work. Her contribution was finally recognized. In 1934, she died from aplastic anemia caused by prolonged radiation exposure. Her legacy continues to shape cancer research, medical imaging, and scientific progress. Her brilliance reshaped nuclear physics and medical science. Her legacy continues to inspire women in STEM across the world. #MarieCurie #WomenInScience #NobelPrize #STEMInspiration #ScienceHistory MotherOfRadiation Polonium Radium AtomicDecay Radioactivity NobelPrizeLegend DarkScience ChemistryAndCourage QuantumTruths ThinkDeeper ScientificSacrifice PhysicsOfDecay InvisibleForces DeadlyBrilliance PolymathMind RadiantLegacy CurieEffect UnseenPower ChemistryOfDeath WomanOfTheAtom

The Science That Powers Your Workouts 🧬 Gerty T. Cori (1896–1957) solved one of the greatest mysteries of the human body: how we manage and recycle energy. Before her research, scientists didn't fully understand how muscles fueled themselves during intense physical stress. Working alongside her husband, Carl, she discovered the exact metabolic pathway our bodies use to survive, now famously known as the "Cori Cycle." Here is how it works: When you exercise, your muscles rapidly burn glucose (sugar) for energy, which produces lactic acid. The Cori Cycle is the elegant process where your body takes that lactic acid out of your muscles, ships it to your liver, and recycles it right back into fresh energy. Without this cycle, your body would completely shut down during physical exertion. Her relentless work mapped the absolute foundation of modern fitness, nutrition, and metabolic health. Today, this discovery forms the bedrock of sports medicine and athletic endurance training. It also provides doctors with the essential blueprint needed to understand and treat severe metabolic disorders. Despite fighting a fatal bone marrow disease for the last ten years of her life, she never stopped researching. Her resilience made her the first American woman to win a Nobel Prize in Science. #WomenInScience #MetabolicHealth #WomenInSTEM #MedicalHistory #fyp FitnessScience Explorepage trending Reel viral muscle energy pathway, fitness science foundation, post-workout recovery science, metabolic health education, history of medicine, women in STEM history, Cori cycle explanation, how muscles burn sugar, biochemistry basics, Neet, Mbbs, History. 🚀 Share this with a woman in STEM and inspire her to keep going! 💪🏻 International Women’s Day is near! Let’s celebrate women in science who defied the odds and paved the way for young women in STEM, PhD students, and researchers. 🔬 Lise Meitner Co-discovered nuclear fission but was denied the Nobel 49 times. 🧪 Dorothy Hodgkin 30+ years to solve insulin’s structure, finally earning a Nobel. ⚛️ Marie Skłodowska-Curie Only woman to win two Nobels in different sciences. Their journey was long and full of obstacles, but they never gave up. Neither should we 💪🏻 To every woman in STEM, PhD researcher, and your scientist: your work matters. Keep pushing, keep discovering. 👩🏻‍🔬 #womeninstem #phd #engineer #research #iwd2026
