Instead of focusing on patriotic visuals alone the ad asked viewers to consider how individuals interact with systems and what true change in society looks like through the choices we make when confronted with injustice. The voice and persona of Pankaj Tripathi helped ground the narrative in real experiences that many Indians recognise when dealing with public services. A core issue the ad’s narrative brought to the forefront is the pervasive problem of bribery in government and public services where citizens are often forced to pay unofficial payments to get work done by officials. Nearly a decade after the ad was released its message remains painfully relevant because the challenge of standing up to petty corruption continues to test everyday citizens’ resolve and courage. Even as some enforcement agencies ramp up anti-corruption efforts with more arrests and vigilance cases being filed in 2025 it underscores how systemic corruption still persists as a lived reality for many Indians. This was one of my last speeches on an integrity commission in Parliament. That's because this week, the House of Representatives will vote on the National Anti Corruption Commission bill, after years and years of campaigning to bring trust and accountability to Government. It's a huge moment, and it's one that I knew I had the people of Indi are behind all the way. You told me you wanted a better standard of politics. Transparency. Accountability. Integrity. We are almost there. But the fight is not over. This Bill is good, but I want it to be better. I will be moving a series of amendments to the Government's Bill on Thursday and I hope the Government and the Opposition support me in a bid to strengthen the Commission's powers and independence. ₹30 લાખની લાંચ લેતા PI અને કોન્સ્ટેબલ ઝડપાયા 😳🚨 ACB એ સી આઇ સેલ સીઆઈડી ક્રાઇમ ગાંધીનગર ખાતે ફરજ PI પેથાભાઈ પટેલ તથા કોન્સ્ટેબલ વિપુલ દેસાઈને ઝડપ્યા હતા • 2024માં નોંધાયેલા એક ગુના મામલે કોઇ કાર્યવાહી નહી કરવા ત્રીસ લાખ રૂપિયાની માંગણી કરી હતી. જે લાંચની રકમ ફરિયાદી આપવા માંગતા ન હોય તેથી તેમણે એ.સી.બી.નો સંપર્ક કરી ફરિયાદ નોંધાવી ‼️ PI and constable caught taking ₹30 lakh bribe! ACB arrested PI Pethabhai Patel and Constable Vipul Desai currently in duty at CI Cell CID Crime Gandhinagar • Demanded thirty lakh rupees for not taking any action in the case of a crime registered in 2024.
