Something else asynchronous in this reel is my lip syncing. But anyways - Asynchronous Develop is a hallmark of giftedness! 🌟Curious in learning more? Comment LEARN for a link to my workshop that explains Asynchronous Development, AND gives you strategies for support 💫 🧠AD is the idea that the brain does not develop at the same time. This is proven through neuroscience, yet with gifted brains the discord between different areas of development can be huge. 😵‍💫Essentially, you have one child, teenager, or adult who is constantly being pulled in different directions. ➡️The result? Frustration. ❤️Internal Frustration I see huge frustration in my young students between their cognitive ability and performance abilities. They have these huge, complex ideas but struggle to communicate them. ❤️External Frustration I also see educators and parents struggle to understand why the child who can so eloquently argue for the preservation of sea turtles also has an emotional meltdown when the timer goes off and they need to stop an activity. The only way to support Asynchronous Development is by first acknowledging it. It's amazing how much can change when you finally have a reason behind some behaviors. 📣I'd love to hear about your experience with Asynchronous Development! Let’s talk about Asynchronous Development. This is a concept that explains why some neurodivergent children can be extremely “mature” intellectually (for example), but seemingly years behind when it comes to emotional regulation or social skills 🧠 #2e #executivefunction #socialemotionallearning #learn #adhd

In async systems, multiple tasks run at the same time — not one after another. When you use printf() or fprintf(), you’re typically doing blocking I/O. That means your thread (or even your event loop) can pause just to write text to the console or a file. In high-performance or concurrent systems, that’s not ideal. 🚫 🔵 printf() just dumps text — no log levels, no structure 🔵 Output can appear out of order when tasks run concurrently 🔵 No built-in timestamps, filtering, or environment control 🔵 Hard to integrate with monitoring or observability tools A proper logger, on the other hand, is configurable and production-ready ⚙️ You get log levels (DEBUG, INFO, ERROR), structured formatting, timestamps, file rotation, and — in many setups — asynchronous logging where messages are queued and written by a separate thread. ⚡ So your main logic keeps running smoothly while logging happens in the background. Bottom line 🚀 printf() is great for quick debugging. Logging is built for scalable, asynchronous, real-world systems. #async #asynchronous #debugging #devlife #coder

It’s not about one best option- it’s about the right trade-off. Comment "pdf" for detailed notes. ⸻ 1️⃣ Synchronous HTTP (REST / gRPC) 👉 One service calls another and waits for the response. Use when: You need an immediate answer. Example: Order service asks Payment service → “Did payment succeed?” ⸻ 2️⃣ Asynchronous Messaging (Queue / Events) 👉 Service sends a message and moves on. Use when: You don’t need an instant response. Example: Order placed → send event → email & analytics happen later. ⸻ 3️⃣ Event-Driven Communication 👉 Services react to events instead of calling each other directly. Use when: Many services depend on the same action. Example: “User signed up” → welcome email, notifications, rewards all react. ⸻ 4️⃣ gRPC (Binary, Fast Calls) 👉 Faster, structured communication between internal services. Use when: Services talk a lot and speed matters. Example: Pricing service calling discount service hundreds of times per second. ⸻ Need answer now? → Sync Can wait? → Async Many reactions? → Events -------- #api #microservices #backenddeveloper #interview #softwareengineering (microservices communication, service to service communication, REST vs gRPC, event driven architecture, message queues, system design interview, backend engineering, distributed systems, scalable microservices)

Understanding the JavaScript Event Loop is a game changer for writing efficient asynchronous code. Many developers use setTimeout and Promise daily — but fewer truly understand what happens behind the scenes. Here’s a quick breakdown 👇 🔹 JavaScript is single-threaded 🔹 Synchronous code runs first (Call Stack) 🔹 Then all Microtasks execute (Promises, queueMicrotask) 🔹 Then one Macrotask runs (setTimeout, setInterval, DOM events) 🔹 The loop repeats 📌 Execution Priority: Synchronous → Microtasks → Macrotasks Example: console.log(1); setTimeout(() => console.log(2), 0); Promise.resolve().then(() => console.log(3)); console.log(4); ✅ Output: 1 → 4 → 3 → 2 Understanding this helps in: ✔️ Debugging async issues ✔️ Optimizing performance ✔️ Writing better React applications ✔️ Cracking frontend interviews I’ve created a simple infographic to visually explain the entire Event Loop process. If you're preparing for JavaScript or React interviews, mastering this concept is essential. 💬 Now Your Turn 👇 What will be the output of this code? console.log("A"); setTimeout(() => console.log("B"), 0); Promise.resolve().then(() => { console.log("C"); }); console.log("D"); 👨‍💻 Follow for daily React, and JavaScript 👉 @webuniverse02 Drop your answer in the comments 👇 Let’s see who really understands the Event Loop 🔥 #JavaScript #FrontendDevelopment #ReactJS #WebDevelopment #EventLoop CodingInterview

Discernment is the number one leadership competency of the century. Reality is asynchronous perspectives. However… Most people forget to look at more reality than just one — their own. Self-interested people only get so far when it comes to creating something bigger than themselves — family, community, work and other contributions. The skill of discernment allows you to see more than one opportunity, more than one perspective and avoid the law of increasing opportunity costs.
