(and internationally on High Voltage in 1976), It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘n’ Roll) wasn’t just another rock track, it was a statement of survival. Fronted by Bon Scott, the song pulls directly from the band’s early grind, endless touring, getting ripped off by promoters, playing to indifferent crowds, and still pushing forward. This wasn’t mythology. It was documentation. And then there’s the detail that shouldn’t work, but does. Bagpipes. Na noite de 10 de março de 2003, o Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony 2003 não era apenas mais uma premiação. Era o momento em que o AC/DC era oficialmente eternizado na história do rock. Mas o que já era grande, ficou ainda maior. Quando os primeiros acordes de “You Shook Me All Night Long” começaram a ecoar, o tempo pareceu voltar para 1980. Lançada no álbum Back in Black, a música marcou uma nova era para a banda, com Brian Johnson assumindo os vocais após a perda de Bon Scott. Era mais do que um hit, era um símbolo de renascimento. E então, o inesperado aconteceu. Steven Tyler, frontman do Aerosmith, se junta à banda no palco. Não como um simples convidado, mas como alguém que entende exatamente o peso daquele momento. Sua presença traz uma energia diferente, intensa, quase indomável, que se mistura perfeitamente com a essência crua do AC/DC. Enquanto Angus Young comanda o palco com sua guitarra inconfundível, o encontro entre essas duas forças do rock transforma a apresentação em algo único.
