DRCakesicles crack? Cakesicles fall off stick? Follow this tips and it won't happen again 😊
- After set the crumbled cake into the mold, place them in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes, this will allow the cakesicles to firm up and make it easier to dip, without falling off the stick.
- Next, remove the mold from the freezer. Gently squeeze the sides of the mold and pull the cakesicle from the mold. Leave them in room temperature to cool down abit before dipping into melted chocolate.
- Make sure the melted chocolate is not hot. Let the melted chocolate or candy coating sit for 5 minutes to slightly cool down before dipping the cakesicle.
Finally, you will get a yummy cakesicle. No Crack! No Fall Off!

🌷MELTING CHOCOLATE 🌷
Always make sure your chocolate is melted correctly!! Meaning it’s always tempered and not just being heated up without checking it consistently. Before you add chocolate in a piping bag, make sure it’s smooth and runny. I usually melt my chocolate in a glass cup in 15 second intervals along with mixing everytime to ensure it’s not overheated.
🌷BEFORE USE🌷
After it’s been placed in the piping bag, make sure the chocolate is placed somewhere room temperature so it’s doesn’t harden by the time you use it or vise versa so it doesn’t stay too hot to the point where it’s way too runny to use🩷 I keep mine in a piping bag until the chocolate still feel like liquid but not hot.

Technique is the best way to describe the perfect drizzle because it’s definitely takes practice but if you take in count these tips you’ll definitely have better results 🩷
