There’s a good chance you’re not experiencing real Contrology. Because classical Pilates was never designed as a muscle-focused workout or a level-based fitness program. Joseph Pilates created a system — a method where exercises, order, and transitions work together to reorganize the body. You’re not there to “move up levels.” You’re there to build a more organized body. Progress in Pilates isn’t measured by harder exercises. It’s measured by: ✔ better coordination ✔ better support in the spine ✔ better movement in daily life If your sessions feel like random exercises chasing muscles and levels… you might just be doing fitness on Pilates equipment.
