FOCob Loaf from Australia 🇦🇺…Around the World - Episode 8
Perfect sharing party food!
1 tbsp olive oil
1 spring onion, finely chopped
200g bacon, diced
250g cream cheese,
2/3 cup double cream
2/3 cup Sour Cream
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Preheat the oven to 190C fan-forced. Get yourself an oven tray.
Cut a disc off the top of the cob loaf to form a lid. Tear bread from the centre of the loaf, leaving a 2cm edge. Put the pieces to one side.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the bacon and spring onion, once the bacon starts to brown and the onions have softened remove from the heat.
In a bowl add cream cheese, cream, sour cream and stir and then add grated cheese and the bacon and onion mix
Spoon mixture into the loaf. Top with a little grated cheese, add the lid then cover with tin foil and put in the oven for 35 minutes.
Remove from the oven and put the tear bread from the inside of the loaf on the tray and back in the oven for 10 minutes.

ingredients ✍️
1 cob loaf
500g bacon, chopped
1 brown onion
2 spring onions
120g spinach
250g cream cheese
300ml cream
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mozzarella
20g French onion soup packet
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp chives, to garnish
bake at 180C for 30 mins!

FAMini cob loaf dips… the best party snack 🙌
You know how everyone loses their mind over a cob loaf?
These are the mini version and they’re actually even better… because everyone gets their OWN.
How to make them 👇
You’ll need:
🥖 6 crusty bread rolls (or 12 dinner rolls)
🌽 1 tin creamed corn (420g)
🥓 150g bacon, diced and cooked
🥛 400ml sour cream
🧄 1 tsp garlic powder
🧀 1 cup grated cheese
🌱 Chives, to garnish
Salt + pepper, to taste
Method:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced.
2️⃣ Slice the tops off the rolls (keep the lids) and scoop out the insides. Tear the bread into bite-sized pieces.
3️⃣ Bake the rolls and bread pieces for 10 minutes, until lightly toasted.
4️⃣ In a bowl, mix the creamed corn, bacon, sour cream, garlic powder, cheese, salt and pepper.
5️⃣ Spoon the mixture into the rolls, wrap in foil and bake for 15–20 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
6️⃣ Unwrap, sprinkle with chives and serve with the toasted bread pieces for dipping.
