Codemasters' series of racing titles that began with TOCA Touring Car Championship made it onto seventh generation consoles with Race Driver GRID.
The progression was simple. Graduate through the clubman and national level events, through to the bigger and more international series that culminated with participation in the 24hr LeMans. The ultimate goal was to defeat the current top team, Ravenwest Motorsport.
The variety of motorsports on offer wasn't as diverse as TOCA Race Driver 3, but it still had more than enough to satisfy! Touring cars, prototypes, open wheelers, JDM, drifting and even demolition derby were just some of the motorsports on offer.
Remembered for its EGO engine which allowed phenomenal damage and crashes at the time, Race Driver GRID still holds up today for a nostalgic playthrough!
