Recipe
Ingredients:
80 gm salted soft butter
40 gm caster sugar (4 tbsp)
60 gm brown sugar (6 tbsp)
165 gm all purpose flour / maida (1¼ cup)
60 ml milk (¼ cup)
1 tsp vanilla essence
¾ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
Chocolate chunks
5-inch cake tin
Method:
In a bowl, add soft butter, caster sugar and brown sugar. Whisk together for 8–10 minutes until the mixture becomes light and pale.
Add milk and vanilla essence and mix well.
Now add all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda and mix to form a soft cookie dough.
Take a 5-inch cake tin and line the base with butter paper. Cover the base with a thin layer of the cookie dough.
Divide the remaining dough into 6 equal portions. Stuff each portion with a large chunk of chocolate and place them in the tin.
Keep the tin in the freezer for 10 minutes while the air fryer or oven preheats.
Bake at 170°C for 18–20 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
Dig in while it’s still hot and gooey.
