Where actually IS Guernsey? 🤔
🌍 Guernsey is in the English Channel, roughly 43 km from the Normandy coast of France (and roughly 113km from England)
❌ Not part of the UK
❌ not part of Great Britain
❓undetermined whether we are part of the British Isles
👑 A Crown Dependency — which means we make our own laws, run our own taxes, and even have our own currency (yep, Guernsey pounds exist!)
🏝️ The Bailiwick of Guernsey also includes 3 other habituated islands and a few without inhabitants. We will tell you more about the incredible islands including Sark, Alderney & Herm in future episodes!
