When researchers discover a vulnerability, it gets catalogued so the world knows it exists. But not all vulnerabilities are equal. That’s where CVSS or Common Vulnerability Scoring System comes in. It ranks issues from 0 to 10 based on severity and exploitability, helping teams prioritise what needs urgent attention 🚨 To see what’s out there, you can search directly on cve.org and map known vulnerabilities to your systems. In real environments, organisations use scanners like Tenable or Rapid7 to automate discovery and continuously assess exposure. You can’t protect what you don’t measure. CVSS score: 9.3 out of 10. Critical. One unauthenticated WebSocket request to /terminal/ws — and the attacker got a full terminal shell. No password. No login. Nothing. SSH keys. Cloud tokens.
