If you saw my Bangkok Cuisine video in Forest Hills, you already know how obsessed I am 😍 The same amazing family owned owners also has a spot on the Upper West Side, bringing the same delicious Thai menu to the neighborhood 🇹🇭✨ @thai72.uws is no frills, authentic and everything hits just right. I can never pick just one appetizer, so the assorted platter was a MUST! Comes with golden curry puffs, king crab rangoon, grilled chicken satay, Thai dumplings and fresh summer rolls. For mains, the crispy duck drunken noodles and Bangkok duck are my top picks and the three flavor sea bass was recommended to try and did not disappoint! I got to experience it with @nycthaiguyfoodie and here’s everything we ordered 👇🏼 🥩 Koi Neua: Thai-style beef tarare over toasted bone marrow 🍤 Shrimp Coconut Panipuri: shrimp, herbs and spices inside a hollow crispy coconut shell 💥 Kua Kling Moo: ground pork stir fried in a spicy kua kling paste 🍜 Kuay Tiew Kruk: rice noodles in a soy garlic sauces and an assortment of meats 💚 Kaeng Ra-Waeng: a spicy southern Thai curry with braised beef 🍨 Mango & Malt ice cream: served over puffed rice and toasted coconut flakes. #thaifoodnyc #thaifood #nyc

Here’s what I ordered for lunch: Drinks 🍸 Pak Chong: Gin, Cucumber, Basil, Pineapple, Lemon, Egg White, Absinthe 🥃 Lang Suan: Rye, Oolong Tea, Coconut, Sweet Vermouth Smalls 🦀 Lhon Pu: crab + chicken simmered in coconut milk with Thai herbs, served with vegetables. 🧡 Hor Mok: steamed branzino curry custard topped with jumbo lump crab. A MUST order! 🥗 Som Tum Kai Kem: papaya salad with salty egg yolk. Mains 🦆 Ped Toom: braised duck in a five-spice gravy, super tender with crispy garlic on top. ❤️ Panang Curry: braised short rib that literally fell off the bone. 🐠 Pla Tod Samun Prai: fried deboned branzino with Thai herbs, chili lime sauce, and caramelized fish sauce.
