All your favourite influencers are doing DBT skills and they might not even know it!!! Doing things ‘one-mindfully’ is a great way to feel the benefits of mindfulness without having to sit down and do a formal practice or meditation. If you have a terrible memory like me/ADHD you could try putting a post-it note by your kettle or toothbrush to remind yourself that every time you drink a cup of tea/brush your teeth, you will do so ‘one-mindfully’. 🌀🧠

My younger self didn’t like to follow wisdom as much as I do now and so I scoffed at the splits journey even though at times I got pretty close. It’s funny how so much time has passed and trust me, I am not bitter about wasting all that time. I used to be now with my DBT skills, when I look back to the past, I say “It is what it is, I can’t change what happened, but I can change what happens from now on.”⁠ ⁠ Much love to all the souls on a journey that might take a while. I BELIEVE IN YOU. I BELIEVE IN US. LETS GOOOO.”

Contrary to what was been said online, you cannot completely heal or get rid of your BPD, but you can manage it and get it into remission. These are a few of the tips I’ve learned. With this all being said however, I’m not a therapist, please consult with a professional. 1. DBT skills will save your life, I stand by this. They’re free to learn online, it has really helped me learn how to calm myself down. I also have a excersise I created that anyone can ask for and I’ll give it for free. Seriously, I answer my DMs once a day and if you need help regulating please just reach out. 2. Holy crap please preserve your nervous system. Burnout is real and it is genuinely so awful. I personally have found that a regular diet, strong boundaries and supplements with L theanine works wonders. I personally like @drinknello. (Consult with your doctor before taking any new supplements) 3. Diva buy yourself some noise cancelling headphones. I’m telling yall, it’s a game changer. It really helps me regulate through my mood swings, you can get some for literally like $20 online. Worth every penny. 4. If you struggle with eating, for one I highly suggest looking into the brand @ellaolaofficial they make odorless and flavorless multivitamins. It’s genuinely one of my fav products, this isn’t a sponsorship I just love them. Secondly, charcuterie boards and protein shakes/smoothies are ur best friend. After a split it’s important to eat. Start with a safe food or a drink then try to slowly eat protein. 5. Lastly, learn your support needs and start taking notes on people in your life that make you split all the time, splitting is a serious medical event, and from my experience is caused by unhealthy attachments, the right people won’t make you split all the time, and a favorite person attachment is a sign of a unhealthy dynamic, it’s not cute or fun, it’s a sign the connection is unhealthy. It’s not shameful to have BPD, but many won’t get it. You can’t make them, but you can choose how to interact with them. With this being said, be careful of the witches you book services with, many do not understand splits or fp attachments. #spirituality #mentalhealth #bpd
