Then I stopped laughing.
Because I realized I do the exact same thing.
We all do.
Not with nail clippers. But with life.
Think about the last time you avoided a difficult conversation.
Or delayed starting something new because you didn’t feel ready.
We build massive, terrifying monsters in our own heads.
We scream before the scissors even touch us.

And as humans, we waste entirely too much time doing exactly the same thing.
The reality is almost never as bad as the movie playing in our minds.
The clip doesn’t actually hurt.
We just have to stop flinching.
