The more general form of this formula is the formula given below: e^(iθ) = Cos θ + i Sin θ This formula is very important when dealing with complex numbers, as it encodes rotation around the origin in the complex plane. The other formula is a joke parody of Euler's formula. It uses the same values, with the addition of 2. The exponent is 0(i+e), which is equal to 0 since anything * 0 = 0. Therefore it simplifies to π^0 + 1 = 2. Anything other than 0, when raised to the power of 0, is 1. i.e. x^0 = 1 for x ≠ 0. This means that the π^0 term is just 1.
