Floating the Comal River in New Braunfels is basically a Texas spring and summer tradition! 💦☀️🛟 The Comal is spring-fed and stays a refreshing 70 to 72 degrees year-round, so even in early spring it feels amazing on a warm afternoon. It’s one of the shortest navigable rivers in the world, but don’t let that fool you. The float typically lasts about 2 to 3 hours and winds right through downtown New Braunfels under beautiful cypress trees with crystal clear water the entire way.
