MAIt started because I never liked the concept of force feeding…grabbing them and forcefully feeding the spoon inside their mouth.
Once I saw my MIL doing that I immediately interrupted and asked her not to do that again. I believe force feeding starts them to hate the the concept of eating and they start defending it…it becomes more like a war which is hard to win
Then and there I hand over the spoon and food to him to feel and eat….less or more upto him as he was on breastmilk
But now when we weaned off be takes the cup of milk as well himself.

It’s easy to look at this and call it extreme. And it is.
But what’s harder to confront is how familiar the underlying idea feels.
Because on one end of the world, girls are told to eat more, take up space, become “desirable.”
And on the other, they’re told to shrink, to be smaller, lighter, less.
Different standards. Same pressure. Both rooted in desirability and ultimately-patriarchy.
Whether it’s force-feeding or starvation diets, neither is empowerment when the choice was never truly yours.
At the core of it all is the same system - where women’s bodies are shaped, judged, and controlled to fit an ideal.
