Freshly baked, pastries & breads, served in a beautifully aesthetic, chic, two-level space and right by Oxford Circus. They are famous for their multi layer chocolate-dough Pain Suisse, pistachio frangipane brioche, almond croissant, tiramisu bun as well as their savoury focaccia & sandwiches. WOW, the skill and flavour in each party was impressive! Fred Bakery at Oxford Circus — worth every bit of the hype. Freshly baked pastries, stunning displays, and flavours that linger long after the last bite. We began with a savoury béchamel & potato croissant, then the tiramisu bun, the much-loved raspberry danish, and finished with a double chocolate pain au chocolat, all alongside hot lattes and my cousin’s company. I’ve realised bakeries aren’t “bad for me” — they’re where my heart feels happiest right now. 📌 Fred Bakery, London, W1 This London bakery has been all over my feed lately, so I had to see what the hype was about. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. Expect a queue and limited seating — it’s very much a grab-if-you’re-lucky situation when it comes to tables. I kept it simple: raspberry Danish and a latte. The pastry was really good. Not overly sweet or sickly — just a balanced sweetness coming naturally from the crème pâtissière and the raspberries. The latte did what it needed to do — solid pairing, no fuss. Definitely one I’ll be back to, especially to explore more of the pastry counter.

Fred…Again 😁🎵 Because insta-viral coffee shop @fredbakery have opened up a SECOND site and replaced their OTT drinks with high-end pastries to suit some new-found Fitzrovia glamour 💅🏻 And the hoards of Oxford Street have responded by queuing out the door for CHOCOLATE PAIN AU SUISSE, RASPBERRY DANISH, TIRAMISU CREAM PASTRY, TOMATO & BURRATA FOCACCIA, CINNAMON SWIRL AND HAM-CHEESE PAIN SUISSE! 🥐 Well, mostly just queuing for these verrrry instagrammable window seats (40 minutes I had to wait, and I was even there on a press visit?!) but I have to say the quality is EXCELLENT and it’s now firmly up there with the finest bakeries London has to offer imo. The space is warm and welcoming, the coffee is genuinely good, and the pastries are clearly popular, one I wanted had already sold out by 9am (three trays gone), so I’ll have to go back for that one. I ended up with a pain au chocolat instead, which didn’t disappoint.
