FERyan Williams, known as R-Willy, spent years attempting this trick, failing over a thousand times before finally landing it on a BMX bike. Already the best in the world on a scooter, he pushed himself to bring the same level of difficulty into BMX.
He first landed the “Free Willy” on a scooter in 2014.
Then came the next challenge.
Taking that same idea, refining it, and committing to it again and again until it finally worked on a BMX. Not luck, not timing, just repetition, risk, and persistence.
Some tricks are landed once.
This one was earned.

ORThis is Tyson, a wild-caught killer whale, lying motionless at the bottom of his tank at Chimelong Spaceship in China.
This behaviour is known as logging. In captive environments, orcas and dolphins are frequently seen floating still at the surface or resting motionless on the pool floor for prolonged periods of time. Although often explained to visitors as “how dolphins sleep,” this is not reflective of natural behaviour.
In the wild, orcas do not stop moving to rest. As they must remain conscious to breathe, they use unihemispheric sleep — resting one half of the brain at a time while slowly swimming alongside their pod, remaining alert, socially connected, and responsive to their environment.
According to Dr. Naomi Rose, it is extremely rare for wild orcas to remain still for more than a minute or two. In captivity, however, logging can last for hours, a pattern she attributes to chronic stress, boredom, and the inhibition of natural behaviours resulting from inadequate living conditions.
While logging itself is not necessarily harmful in isolation, prolonged immobility carries significant risks. In captive settings, it has been linked to fatal mosquito-borne infections after animals remain exposed at the surface for extended periods of time — dangers that do not exist in the open ocean.
More broadly, this behaviour reflects the deprivation inherent in captivity. Orcas like Tyson are denied their natural environment, their complex social structures, and the freedom to travel, hunt, and respond to an ever-changing world. What remains is confinement, monotony, and the cumulative psychological toll of life in a tank.
This video is not an isolated incident.
It is a visible symptom of captivity.
