I’ve been on a gallbladder journey for about ten years now. If you’ve been following me, you’ve seen me share my ultrasounds, my flushes, dissolve my stones, change my diet, you’ve watched me go through pregnancy and work with others to save their organ. Diet can make or break your health. Lifestyle can do the same. Blood work can guide you to solve deeper issues. Let me share my gallbladder friendly tincture with you in hopes this helps those with poor bile flow. Ps, the tincture won’t dissolve the stones but it’ll aid in digestion. One of my many integrative approaches to gallbladder health. - 1 cup of beet water (steam beets, that’s how you get the water) - 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar - chopped garlic - 2 tablespoons of lemon juice+ chopped peel - pinch of turmeric Have a 3-4 spoons when experiencing spams. ##gallbladderdiet #gallbladderremoval #gallbladder #gallbladderproblems #gallbladderstones #gallbladderhealth #gallbladdercleanse #gallbladderremoved #gallbladderflush #gallbladdersurgery #gallbladderstones #gallstonesdiet #gallstonesurgery #gallstonessuck #gallstonerecipes #gallstonesymptoms

If we haven’t met yet Hi! 👋 My name is Nerissa, I was diagnosed with a poorly functioning gallbladder and innumerable liver cysts 4 years ago. I avoided gallbladder removal surgery and haven’t had pain from my gallbladder since. I developed my own personal method that helped me succeed and it can help you as well. If you’re done being stuck in the wait and see cycle You’re done with the pain You’re done with googling symptoms You’re done trying to piece things together yourself You’re done being scared to eat anything because the pain might come back You know something can be done and you want to do it! ✨ then we should consider working together - comment ME if your serious about getting some support and coaching I never expect you to just take my word for it, here’s some quotes from women I’ve helped. “The plan is so perfect for ME!!! I will be able to achieve so (hopefully most of it) and you put so much of me in it. I could tell you really listened to me and hear me!:)” “It’s been going great now that I’ve been sticking with your recommendations!” “I found your page on FB. Really got serious about my eating-! make your shakes for lunch. Got off all the supplements I was taking...l feel amazing and I take all your suggestions and recommendations seriously! THANK YOU!!!” Your turn next! #gallbladderproblems #fattyliver #gallbladdersurgery #gallbladderhealth #gallbladderpain

No gallbladder AND diverticulitis? I’ve got you. Here’s how to beat the bloat and make food your friend again: 1. Digestive enzymes with hydrochloric acid after protein meals are critical. if you’re taking a digestive enzyme, read the label. It must have HCL to pulverize protein. If you don’t have one that you love, and that you know agrees with you, try my enzyme energy. It’s made for people with sensitive bellies! 2. Add an ox bile supplement. Ox bile breaks down fat and can be a game changer when you have lost your gallbladder. 3. Eat proteins and carbohydrates separately! This is called “proper food combining.” There’s a food combining chart on my website. Separating proteins and carbohydrates not only bus bloat, but helps with belly fat loss, energy and mood. 4. Make sure you’re pooping every day! If not, use my happy gut cleanse, not a laxative. Not having a gallbladder tends to make people sluggish… And this also adds to bloat, weight gain and fatigue. 5. Castor oil packs are amazing for reducing pain and inflammation. You’ll find prepackaged Castro packs on Amazon from a company called Queen of the thrones. Tips: eat your vegetables cooked, not raw. High fiber diets can make things worse, not better. You don’t need massive amounts of fiber to poop every day. And, avoid wheat, corn, and soy. You’ll find my “diverticulitis diet“ on my website, and these are excellent diet guidelines to follow. You’ve got this! #nogallbladder #gallbladdersurgery #gallbladderproblems #enzymeenergy #happygutcleanse #diverticulitis

Biliary dyskinesia is probably a misnomer. The name suggests a gallbladder that doesn’t squeeze properly, but the test we use to measure that, the HIDA scan, does not reliably predict who will feel better after surgery. Some people with very low numbers improve. Others don’t. And some people with normal numbers feel better after surgery. It’s also not clearly an inflammatory disease. Pathology often shows “chronic cholecystitis,” but that finding is extremely common and does not reliably explain pain or predict outcomes. Many people with the same pathology never had symptoms at all. The overall pattern looks much more like a disorder of gut–brain interaction. The pain is real, but it’s driven by how nerves, hormones, and the brain communicate with the gallbladder, not by stones, blockage, or visible damage. That’s why surgery helps some people and not others. For treatment, surgery can still be the right option for patients with very classic, episodic biliary-type pain that closely matches gallbladder attacks. In that group, outcomes tend to be better. But for many patients, especially when symptoms overlap with IBS, chronic nausea, bloating, or daily pain, treating this as a gut–brain disorder makes more sense. That can include neuromodulators like low-dose TCAs or SNRIs to calm hypersensitive gut nerves, and gut–brain therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy or gut-directed hypnosis to retrain this connection. The pain is real. The mechanism just isn’t as simple as we once thought. #gallbladderremoval #gallbladderremoval #ibs #ibsawareness #gallbladderproblems

🌎More than 25 million people in the United States have gallstones, and 65% to 75% of them are women - and this is often driven by nervous system dysregulation and estrogen dominance. The gallbladder is parasympathetically innervated, meaning bile release depends on your vagus nerve firing properly. Chronic sympathetic activation (fight-or-flight) inhibits cholecystokinin (CCK) release and vagal tone. Less CCK = reduced gallbladder contraction = stagnant bile.❌ Essentially, if you’re stuck in stress mode, you’re not digesting fats. Your bile isn’t moving. Add estrogen dominance into the mix and gallbladder problems start firing away... Estrogen increases cholesterol in the bile, and progesterone slows the emptying of the gallbladder. That may explain why the risk for women, relative to men, decreases with age. Before age 40, women are diagnosed with gallstones almost three times more often than men are (pregnancy, for example, increases the risk), but by age 60, their risk is just slightly greater. Oral contraceptive pills also increase the risk. Obesity is another risk factor because bodies with more fat produce more estrogen. Paradoxically, rapid weight loss also increases the risk, because very low-calorie diets interfere with bile production and therefore cause more crystallization of cholesterol. Gallstones are so common after weight-loss surgery too! Gallstones are also more likely to occur in people with diabetes or any condition that decreases gallbladder contractions or intestinal motility, such as a spinal cord injury. When we work together, we can help save your gallbladder! Note: this is not medical advice!☺️ ✉️Spread the word to a friend! Were you told this when you had your gallbladder taken out?🤔

If You Wait for a Diagnosis, You're Risking Removal of Your Gallbladder. I never needed a doctor to tell me what was wrong with my body. I felt it. In my digestion and constant migraines. In my mood swings and PMS. In my stubborn fatigue and unexplainable tension. And if you’re honest with yourself, you feel it too. The bloat after meals you “just live with.” The hormonal chaos you chalk up to being a woman. The right-side tension and mystery shoulder pain that no stretching ever really fixes. Here’s the truth: Your body isn’t waiting for a test result. It’s already speaking. Loudly. Clearly. Right now. And the organ most people ignore—the one quietly running the show behind your hormones, detox, and digestion—is your gallbladder. That’s why I created my NEW Class: The Real Root Cause of Gallbladder Imbalance. Because until you understand what this vital organ actually does… You’ll keep treating symptoms and missing the root. In this class I'll show you: The subtle but serious signs your gallbladder is under stress (before it’s too late). How your eyes and tongue hold the truth your body’s been trying to reveal. And why stuck emotions—not just stuck bile—are clogging your healing. You don’t need permission to heal. You need education. Your body is already asking for help. Are you ready to listen? Comment SIGNS and I’ll send you the link to join. LET'S GO! 🎉🙌🏼

My father had his gallbladder removed so he could continue eating unhealthy foods every day without addressing the real issue. The doctors never told him that his gallbladder problems were largely due to dehydration and poor dietary choices. They didn’t suggest natural healing methods like fasting or juicing to allow his body to heal and dissolve the gallstones naturally. Instead, surgery was the easy way out, with no real guidance on how to prevent future issues. It’s frustrating to think about it, and it still hurts to see him making the same unhealthy choices. He was given little to no advice on avoiding fried, processed, and inflammatory foods, things that likely contributed to the problem in the first place. Instead of being encouraged to nourish his body with the right foods, he was left without the knowledge he needed to truly heal and thrive. Follow! @yahkiawakened The purpose of this page is to raise awareness about these topics. My perspective comes from a deep, genuine place, and I hope it resonates with you. Symptoms of gallbladder problems: -Pain and discomfort under the right ribcage -Nausea and heaviness after eating fatty foods such as eggs, meats, nuts -Constipation and/or diarrhea -Skin issues: acne, cystic acne, blackheads, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, scleroderma, rashes. All of those mean your liver and gallbladder are not detoxing properly and the skin is taking over -Low thyroid function. Slow thyroid leads to poor gallbladder function, which in turn messes up digestive tract, which leads to low thyroid -Arthritis and various joint issues. Bile is highly germicidal and if you don’t make enough of it, you will be prone to low grade infections that find their way into the joints causing inflammation -Milia or little white cysts that form around the eyes -High cholesterol. Cholesterol leaves the body only via bile so if your bile production is compromised, you will tend to have high cholesterol Consider buying my basic four kit on my website, it is amazing for getting the gallbladder and liver moving smoothly as well as great for general wellbeing, #gallbladder #healthtips #holistichealth #naturopath #naturalhealing

If you don’t have a gallbladder, this one is for you! :) I get LOTS of questions around how to support your body post gallbladder removal, because while we can live without it - it does play some pretty important roles. Disclaimer: This is NOT medical advice, this is for educational purposes only and if you’d like to learn more about the importance of bile specifically you can listen to our podcast on The Food Code to learn more! Products I like to support digestion and lifestyle recommendations without a gallbladder: Digestive Enzymes with OxBile) * Thorne BioGest * Pure Encapsulations Digestion GB * NOW Super Enzymes Lifestyle wise: * Keep your intake of dairy products and grains to a minimum or avoid them altogether.  Dairy products (milk, cheese, ice-cream, yoghurt) worsen all cases of gallbladder disease, liver disease and they can be difficult to digest.  Food intolerance is a common cause of gallbladder problems, and there is research that links gluten intolerance with gallstones. * Eat some good fats and avoid the bad fats.  Your doctor may have recommended you follow a low fat diet after having your gallbladder removed.  This is not necessary and in fact it is harmful.  Your body desperately needs good fats and I recommend you include moderate quantities of extra virgin olive oil, avocados, coconut milk and oil, nuts and seeds in your diet. * Bitter greens with meals to stimulate bile naturally! Suitable bitter and sour foods include lemons, limes, radicchio lettuce, chicory, endive and dandelion leaves.  🤍Liz Roman, FNTP and RWS #gallbladdersurgery #gallstones #gallbladderdiet #gallbladderremoval #gallbladderproblems #gut #guthealth #digestion #digestivehealth #fattyacids
