SPMaking your own natural hand soap is one of the easiest and most satisfying DIY projects. With just 20 Euros, we created enough gentle, skin-friendly soap to last an entire year. It’s a simple way to take control of what goes on your skin. Clean, nourishing, and completely natural.
INGREDIENTS 🫧
Chocolate & Coffee🍫☕️
- 500g soap base
- 1/2 tsp coffee powder
- 1/2 tsp chocolate powder
- 2 tbsp E oil
- Mix the chocolate and coffee powder with the oil before adding to the melted soap
Optional: 10 drops of Vanilla essential oil
Calendula & Lemon 🍋🌼
- 500g soap base
- 2 tbsp grated shea butter
- 1 tbsp dry calendula petals
- 20 drops of lemon essential oil or calendula oil
Lavender & Oats 🌾🪻
- 500g soap base
- 2 tbsp oats
- 20 drops of lavender essential oil
- 2 tbsp dry lavender flowers
Orange & Rosemary 🍊🌿
- 500g soap base
- 1/2 tbsp finely chopped dry rosemary
- 10 drops of Orange essential oil
- 10 drops of rosemary essential oil
Optional: dry orange zest
Instructions: 🥣🫧
- Melt your soap base in a double boiler.
- If using shea butter, ensure it’s grated, not chopped, as it takes longer to melt than the soap base.
- If using powder, first mix it thoroughly with an oil to eliminate clumps, then add it to the melted soap.
- Once melted, turn off the heat, then add your oils and the remaining ingredients.
- Note: Any extra ingredient you add or change can make the mixture harder, less oily, or solidify faster.
- Mix well and pour into the silicone mold.
- Let it solidify, then store in an airtight container.

POSOAP TRIMMING! 🧼 WHAT IS HOT PROCESS SOAP? 🔥
Hot Process Soap Making starts the same as cold.
Step 1: mix lye into oils
Step 2: blend till "Trace" a think pudding like consistency
At this point in cold Process you add all your additives (Scent, Color, exfoliants)
The soap is left to cure. During this phase the soap heats up During the Saponification Process which creates Soap.
The draw back is that the heat can go so high that it can render some of the added ingredients inert (cooked out) so your not always quite sure what is in the final soap bar.
This is where HOT PROCESS begins...
WITH HOT PROCESS 🔥
🧼 You cook the soap under controlled heat, mixing and adjusting heat as you go.
🧼 Once the soap is fully Saponified and as it cools down, you can add the additives at the proper temperatures so that they are not rendered inert.
🧼 You can add a Super Fat (Extra Conditioning Oil) and know exactly how much a Bar will have because I won't be Saponified.
🧼 Essential Oils & Scented Oils Smell Stronger & Last Longer because they are not "Flashed Out" (cooked out)
🧼 Once it cools and Hardens, it is ready to be used. It can be used within 24hrs of making.
