Comment “GPU” for the open source link Software engineer just built a working GPU from scratch in 2 weeks with zero GPU design experience A software engineer just built a working GPU from scratch in two weeks with zero prior GPU design experience Not a simulation Not a concept Meet Adam Majmudar He coded the entire thing in Verilog using a one hundred thirty nanometer process Thats ancient technology From two thousand and one But heres the problem nobody talks about GPU design is completely locked down by NVIDIA and AMD Almost zero public documentation exists So he had to figure it out himself Reverse-engineering frameworks Teaching himself from scratch with no resources Adam figured out something no solo engineer has ever done at this scale He built a minimal GPU focused on parallel computing Matrix math that powers machine learning Custom memory management A dispatcher organizing threads into blocks A scheduler that required multiple rewrites before it actually worked Heres where it gets insane He passed verification through OpenLane EDA software Then submitted it to Tiny Tapeout for actual physical manufacturing This isnt competing with modern GPUs Its proof that one person can understand silicon architecture from the ground up But the craziest part The entire project is open source **Hashtags:** #GPU #AdamMajmudar #OpenSourceGPU #Verilog #ChipDesig

IBM Quantum’s Open plan allows you to access their 6 quantum hardwares and run your quantum algorithm in their Quantum Processing Unit for up to 10 minutes per month. Note: simple algorithms around 5-6 qubits just take a couple of seconds to run, so that’s considerably a good amount of access since these computers are highly expensive. How can you run a quantum algorithm?
