THPlanning on an Interrailing adventure around Europe this summer? Here’s everything you should know before going!
- Eurostar is included but tickets reservations book up very quickly so I recommend to book this before anything else!
- You may need to make reservations (pay a little extra) for some journeys, most of the trains we got around Italy we had to pay extra for. Download the Rail Planner app to help with this!
- You might not like every place you visit and that’s okay! Don’t get down and feel like you’ve wasted a travel day, the experience is all that matters!
- Allow flex in your schedule. This will allow for circumstances like strikes but also if you want to stay in one place a little longer!
- For those wondering, no you won’t get a stamp in your passport for every country you visit 🥲
- Interrailing is great excuse to visit lesser known places! Use some unheard of cities as stop offs rather than doing long journeys!
- have fun! Our Interrailing trip was one of the best trips ever and we’d do it again in a heartbeat!
