Jet engines may look similar from the outside, but the way they move air inside defines how fast, how far, and how efficiently an aircraft can fly. A turbojet engine works by drawing in air, compressing it, mixing it with fuel, and expelling all of it through a narrow exhaust nozzle at extremely high velocity to produce thrust. Because every bit of air passes through the hot core, turbojets generate very strong thrust at high speeds, making them ideal for supersonic military aircraft. However, this design comes with major drawbacks: the exhaust jet is extremely noisy, fuel consumption is high, and efficiency drops sharply at subsonic speeds. In contrast, a turbofan engine uses a large fan at the front to split the airflow into two streams—one goes through the engine core like a turbojet, while a significant portion bypasses the core and flows around it. This bypass air produces most of the thrust at a lower exhaust velocity, which greatly improves fuel efficiency, reduces noise, and enhances performance during takeoff and cruise at subsonic speeds. As a result, turbofans dominate commercial aviation, where efficiency, range, and passenger comfort are critical. How does the jet engine ( Gas turbine engine) work ? . اساس کار یه موتور جت ( از نوع توربین گازی ) در این کلیپ به وضوح نشون داده شده . هوا از طریق کمپرسور به درون موتور مکش میشه و حین پیشروی در طبقات کمپرسور از سرعت هوا کاسته شده و به فشار و درجه حرارتش اضافه میشه و در محفظه احتراق سوخت بهش اضافه میشه و اونجا سوخته میشه و تولید گازهای داغ می کنه .این گازهای داغ هم وارد بخش توربین میشن و توربین شروع به چرخش میکنه . تا اینجا هیچ نیروی جلوبرندگی تولید نشده و فقط یه مقدار کار تولید شده تا کمپرسور به چرخش در بیاد .بعد از خروج گازهای داغ از بخش توربین و ورود اونا به نازل و خروج اونا از اگزوز هست که نیروی جلوبرندگی ایجاد میشه . در موتورهای توربوفن بزرگ حتی اون گاز داغ هم تراست زیادی تولید نمیکنه بلکه هوای خنکی که از اطراف موتور عبور میکنه نیروی جلوبرندگی اصلی رو تولید میکنه. در ابن کلیپ چون کمپرسور دو مرحله بود یعنی پرفشار و کم فشار ،توربین هم دو مرحله شد .در موتورهای اولیه فقط یک مرحله توربین و کمپرسور وجود داشت .حالا هر چقدر سوخت بیشتری وارد محفظه احتراق بشه ،گازها داغ تر میشن پس انرژی اونا بیشتر میشه و توربین رو با سرعت بیشتری می چرخونن و بنابراین دور موتور بالاتر میره و به همین ترتیب گازهای داغ بیشتری از اگزوز خارج میشن و نیروی جلوبرندگی افزایش پیدا میکنه . این کار با همون جلو بردن تراتل توسط خلبان انجام میشه . نیروی جلوبرندگی یا تراست هم عکس العمل نیروی اعمالی گازهای داغ خروجی از اگزوز بر مولکول‌های هوای پشت موتور هست . . #aviation #aircraft #airplane #هوانوردی #خلبان #خلبانی #جنگنده #پرواز #هواپیما

When you watch an aircraft take off, it looks smooth and silent from the outside. Inside the engine, it’s controlled chaos. This video shows how turbojet and turbofan engines actually work, from the moment air enters to the moment the aircraft moves forward. A turbojet is the simplest idea. Air goes in, gets compressed, mixed with fuel, burned, and then shot out at very high speed. That fast exhaust is what pushes the aircraft forward. It’s loud, aggressive, and built for speed,which is why early fighter jets used turbojets. A turbofan takes the same core idea but improves it. Instead of throwing all the air straight out, a big fan at the front pushes most of the air around the engine. That slower, heavier airflow creates more efficient thrust. The result is less noise, better fuel efficiency, and longer range perfect for modern aircraft. That’s why today’s passenger planes look quiet and smooth, even though the power inside them is massive. Engineering didn’t change the goal.
