I feel like it goes without saying but I should say it anyways — doing these does not mean you will go into labor. But if your body is ready, it can help get that baby in the right position! 👍🏼 These are great to do throughout your pregnancy as well. They can help manage back and pelvic pain and help open your hips and pelvic girdle. - Pelvic tilts - anterior/posterior, lateral, circles both directions - Lateral shifts - Wide stance thoracic rotation (this can be done with elbows on knees if reaching the floor is difficult) this is one of my favs! - Figure 4 stretch - Half kneel rocking 🤰🏻Happy labor prep mamas! #daretobeactiveprepostnatal

➡️Deep squats keep your pelvis mobile instead of locked + opens top of pelvis ➡️Lateral shifting keeps your body adaptable instead of rigid + opens mid pelvis That’s pregnancy support.
That’s labor prep.

Can’t believe what has happened this week… 24 weeks ~ 6 months Viability week (baby could survive outside the womb with medical care, a big milestone week) Felt baby move and kick for first time (hello anterior placenta) Anatomy scan confirmed baby is healthy and growing properly (everything working and in place where it should be) Growing rapidly (it’s getting more real every day, now that baby bump is really showing up) Labor prep has begun (daily stretches, starting hypno birthing online classes, mindfulness of daily nutrition, and more…) Starting nursery prep Planning baby shower and baby registry is out ….my goodness I never thought I would be here, Pregnant that is at 45…But my goodness, greatest blessing I could ever experience. Even though I am not yet ready for the next phases, I am excited for every moment and everyday I get to grow this precious baby in my womb. What. A. Gift.
