Leaf Two Razor Review I got the @leafshave razor at the end of January and I’ve been testing it out for about 6 weeks: Here’s what changed: The pivoting head is completely different. On the original, the pivot sits underneath. On the Leaf Two, it’s placed behind the blades, which gives you WAY more control and a smoother glide. The blade system changed too: The original uses 3 blades The Leaf Two uses 2 blades and somehow gives a closer shave I believe it’s because of that new pivot placement, your skin isn’t being overworked so you get less irritation, fewer ingrowns, without needing a third blade. And this is my favorite upgrade 👀 No more screw mechanism 🫶🏾 The Leaf Two has a push-button release, so changing blades is quick, easy, and way less annoying then unscrewing it. Both are: - weighted for control - plastic-free razors - perfect for a low-waste shaving routine With this razor I shave my legs and underarms and I like that the new one has a better grip than the original so I’m less likely to drop in the shower. I’ve done that a couple times with the original 😅 So since I’ve been practicing using this I have way more control, no ingrowns or cuts and a closer shave which I thought was impossible lol Personally I change my blades ones a month. That’s when I notice they get dull. This perform just like conventional razors without the plastic waste. I think it’s great that they made thoughtful updates to the OG Do you need this? No, if you already own the OG and love it, keep using it but if you’ve been looking to upgrade your shave routine to a more sustainable option and transitioning to traditional safety razors are intimidating and you want a razor you can just pick up and just use ,this is phenomenal. It’s currently $109. I know she’s expensive but before I was spending $15-20 every few weeks over a year that’s $150-300+ and over a few years easily $500+ In the long run it’s a better investment. If you’re still using plastic razors… this is for you ☺️ I bought my @leafshave razor back in 2020 and it’s been one of my staple sustainable lifestyle bathroom items that I recommend a lot, for where people can start when transitioning to an intentional lifestyle. I bought my leaf shave, with extra refill blades and the recycling tin which I STILL haven’t filled up yet and have loved the product and brand ever since. So you can imagine my excitement then they emailed me last week 🥹 Honestly I always say NO to most PR packages because of the waste. But a YES comes to brands I genuinely use, have vetted for years and that have sustainable products, production and packaging at the top of their ethos. The “Spruce” colour edition is their newest colour launched for Earth Day 2025 this month, and they are donating $5 from each order to the @nationalforests Foundation. So take away points for you if you’re interesting in switching from single use politics plastic razors to these refillable metal ones: ♾️ The brand sells refillable blades and they last you forever. I still haven’t finished my refills that I bought in 2020! And you’re contributing to more thoughtful consumption and less plastic waste that will outlast your life on earth. ♾️ The quality is fantastic as you can see from my 5 year old silver one in the video and has an ergonomic head that is flexible to reach all curves. ♾️ Easy to travel with and hang up in the shower. By investing is something you will use with longevity in mind, you will also be saving money in the long run if you’re constantly buying plastic options and plastic top replacements.
