RPLuma Labs (@lumalabsai) just launched a model named Uni-1 which is the first one that I personally think beats Nano Banana 2, especially for business and marketing.
That’s because it nails infographics, diagrams, presentations and other structured content.
The reason why is that it’s the first ever image model built on Unified Intelligence.
Every major image model for the last several years has worked with a process called diffusion, which basically means you start with static and using pattern recognition, you remove noise until a picture appears according to a specific prompt.
Uni-1 is built differently – it’s essentially a reasoning model that can generate images. Meaning, it understands what you are trying to make, plans the approach, and turns ideas into finished creative work in one continuous flow.

RPLuma’s new creative agents are a huge leap forward in AI creative production.
Instead of creating individual assets, the platform orchestrates several sub-agents to perform individual tasks simultaneously – choosing the best model for the task-at-hand.
It blew my mind in early testing:
My mother-in-law wanted to create a YouTube video explaining simple stock trading techniques to young adults using cartoon characters that each represented a candlestick pattern.
I explained to her that the process would require hundreds of individual image generations for each character followed by image-to-video variations for each. VO, SFX and music would be required as well, before stitching it all together.
That process would have taken hours and hours across several different programs and models.
But Luma nailed it – in one take, from a simple prompt.
~15 mins later we had a 10 minute Youtube video, that looked and sounded great, with perfect accuracy across all candlestick patterns.
Now you can see why I think multi-agent orchestration is the future of creative production.
