DOI ate at The Atlantic in Celestial Park… aka Epic Universe’s MOST expensive restaurant… and I have some thoughts 😳
First impression?
STUNNING.
It genuinely feels like you stepped inside a Victorian-era aquarium. Giant metal fish “swim” overhead, the lighting is moody and magical, and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Epic Universe in the dreamiest way. Even our server stayed in a subtle 19th-century accent the entire time. The theming? 10/10. No notes.
Now… here’s where things started to go sideways.
We were a big group (two tables of about 8), so I always try to give grace with timing. I ordered the corn chowder because it came highly recommended… and for me? Miss. It was bland and needed a lot of salt.
Then the entrees arrived.
And almost everything was cold.
Not “could be warmer.”
Cold.
Pasta dishes. Steaks. Multiple plates at both tables. I had the seabass, which flavor-wise was actually really good and I can’t complain about mine specifically, but almost everyone else’s food was ice cold.
Because it was SO busy, it took another 10–15 minutes to flag our server down. To his credit, once we told him, he immediately took everything back and fresh, hot plates came out pretty quickly.
But by then? The vibe had shifted. We were anxious to get back into the park and it just felt… off.
My honest opinion?
The theming is fabulous. Truly. It might be one of the most beautifully designed restaurants on Universal property.
But for the price point, the kitchen needs to work out some kinks before I’d personally give it another shot.

BOInside The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal Studios Orlando Florida located at CityWalk. You can’t not see the massive restaurant resembling to me the Willy Wonka factory. Known for its elaborate desserts, absolute massive and wild milkshakes, it’s got a full-service menu with American classics like steak and seafood. It also has a large chocolate shop and bakery, with a story-driven atmosphere centered around its fictional founders, Penelope Toothsome and her robot Jacques. It’s definitely worth visiting every if you just come inside to get dessert from the chocolate shop or if you don’t want to go into the actual restaurant we’ve gone in to the left and ordered desserts from the bar before as well. Food wise it’s a bit on the pricier side, not horrible but up there, it is right outside of a theme park. We spent about $150 total for 6 people (2 adults, 6 kids) for appetizer’s, entrees, and dessert.
