I debrief my kids after every trip. What did you see, what did you notice, what does it tell you about the world? What they came back with unprompted stopped me cold.
We are raising a generation in a culture that rewards helplessness and calls it compassion. That engineers out every discomfort and calls it progress. That mistakes ease for happiness and dependency for freedom.
I refuse to raise my kids that way. Every parent should be asking whether they are too.
