Ingredients:
250g Plain All Purpose Flour (Vetta Smart Plain Flour - can be substituted for self raising flour)
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Cinnamon
35g Zero Calorie Sweetener (Natvia Natural Sweetener)
1 Egg
335ml Low Fat Milk
Sugar Free Maple Syrup
600g Extra Lean Beef Mince
1 Tsp Salt, 1 Tsp Onion Powder, 1 Tsp Garlic Powder, 1/2 Tsp Sage, 1/2 Tsp Thyme
6 Eggs, 1 Tsp Sat & 100g Blended Cottage Cheese
6 Slices Cheddar Cheese (Dairyworks Natural Cheddar Cheese)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl add all purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, zero calorie sweetener & mix well.
2. Add an egg, low fat milk & mix well until you have a thick pancake batter (add more milk if needed)
3. Spray a pan with light cooking oil spray, evenly distribute the batter into two seperate silicone egg rings with some a drizzle of sugar free maple syrup on top. Place a lid on the pan & cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat or until you see bubbles at the top then flip & cook again. Repeat this process until you have 12 pancakes.
4. In a seperate bowl add extra lean beef mince with the seasonings, mix well & form 6 equal balls.
5. To a pan add the mince ball, flatten & cook on medium - high heat for 2 minutes on each side.
6. In a seperate bowl mix together 6 eggs with blended cottage cheese (this step boosts the protein & also makes the eggs fluffier)
7. To a small pan add a thin layer of the egg mixture, once it’s cooked fold the edges towards the middle to create an egg pocket. Repeat the process to make 6 egg pockets in total.
8. Assemble each McGriddle by adding a slice of cheddar cheese on one pancake followed by a mince patty, one egg pocket & another pancake on top.

ALNo need to beat the breakfast rush when you make this McGriddle Casserole at home! 🥞🧑🍳 This casserole has LAYERS of pancake mix, sausage, and bacon that all combine into one easy bake—12/10!

Ingredients:
1 pound breakfast sausage
6 slices bacon
3 cups complete (“just add water”) pancake mix
2 cups water
1/4 cup maple syrup, plus more for serving
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons softened butter
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir sausage in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Set aside to cool slightly.
Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned and crisp, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels. Crumble when cool enough to handle.
Whisk together pancake mix and water until well combined. Stir in maple syrup. Add sausage, bacon, and cheese and fold the mixture together until well incorporated. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven until casserole is lightly browned, and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
Spread butter over hot casserole and serve with extra syrup as desired.

Nothing beats a good Sunday morning breakfast and this McGriddle bake checks all of the boxes. It’s a combo of eggs, pancakes, sausage and cheese that can’t be beat. It’s also super easy to make so why not give it a try your entire family will love it.

6 eggs
12 oz breakfast sausage cooked crumbled
1 c milk
2 c pancake mix
1/2 c maple syrup
1 teaspoon baking powder
Salt and pepper
1 1/2 c shredded cheddar
Whisk the eggs, milk, pancake mix, syrup, baking powder, salt and pepper. Stir in one cup of the cheese and half of the sausage. Add half of the batter to a 9x13 prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining sausage over top then remaining batter. Bake at 375 for about 30 minutes or until set. Top with remaining cheese and return to oven until the cheese is melted.
