NIThanks to all for coming out to the @hustonlumbersupply show. I demonstrated the manufacturers’ recommended installation methods for some clever new siding designs from @azekexteriors and @jameshardie. Funny enough, I decided to make my own window for this presentation so that we could include some critical window flashing details that I want to keep from slipping into obscurity. And I’m glad I did. I was surprised by how many people were surprised by the fact that you should not tape over the bottom flange of windows. Many thanks to Santo, Rob, Brian, and the entire Huston team, as well as Ben @azektrimrulesnj, @parksite_mike, @parksite.inc, and Peter Kreel from Hardie.
