The BJP government has found a new way — if they cannot do good work, then silence those who expose them. That’s why, on February 20, after implementing an IT Act amendment, they have been banning accounts of creators and news channels that raise their voice against them. A news channel with 8.5 million subscribers, “4 PM,” was banned by the Indian government. Within a month, videos and posts of thousands of creators like @shyammeerasingh Shyam Meera Singh, @iarpitspeaks Arpit Sharma, and cartoonist Sandip Acharya were taken down, and many accounts were suspended. You may have seen that video where a comedian was mimicking Modi ji — it had over 13 million views — but since the government didn’t like it, it was taken down. @4pm_up And look at the timing — all of this is happening when elections are being held in five states. #bjp #modi
