Opened for just a few days… and there’s already a long queue for a bowl of this Samgyetang. Rich broth, fall-off-the-bone chicken, totally worth the hype.

Note: we went on a Saturday. Arrived at 5:30pm and only started eating at 8:30pm 🥹
(the queue system was a little confusing — one person in your party has to physically stand in line. Hopefully they switch to a phone-texting system soon!)
What we ordered:
• Hanbang Samgyetang
• Beauty Collagen Soup (cleaner compared to hanbang)
• Potato Pancake
• Bellflower Tea (did not like this at all 😂)
• Tofu Gelato (a must-try!)
all included in the set (RM175)
Definitely on the milder, comforting side rather than the traditional herbal Samgyetang I had at Tosokchon Samgyetang in Korea. 🍲
But i really enjoyed the Tofu Gelato and Sweet Corn Gelato! 🍨 🌽🍦

Finally tried out this popular Korean restaurant that specialises in ginseng chicken soup.
They have 6 different flavours and I opted for the 🥣𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐥 ($𝟑𝟔). It was pretty comforting and the chicken was tender too.
Do note that they only accept walk-ins and no reservations are allowed.

CHFollowing up on a Community Alert at the MODA Center about possible 🧊🧊🧊 activity. As of 6:30pm I saw no signs of any sus vans or other vehicles matching what they use. Only concert goers or vendors loading supplies in the back way to Moda. The alert I think was retracted, I didn't see until I was otw already. So I figured I'd do a loop & check it was safe. I can report I saw nothing "sus." Doesn't mean the alert wasn't a good precaution, also later tonight is not off the table. #moda #portland #503 #pdx #community #alert #safety

JOOrchard Road, Singapore 🇸🇬 — LOVED the Samgyetang at Modu, a Korean specialty restaurant tucked inside Mandarin Gallery! 🇰🇷
The queues can get quite long (especially on weekends 😅), so I joined the virtual queue and explored Orchard while waiting for my turn — totally worth it! 🥣💛 I shall be back!!

HOHad a super satisfying comfort meal here at @songgyeok.sg’s newest Centrepoint outlet ✨!! They serve Samgyetang from MODU so you know where to go if the queue at MODU is long 🤪.
I really love their Samgyetang cause it comes with a WHOLE chicken & there’s also no MSG so you can really taste the goodness in their broth. Personally really enjoyed the Truffle Samgyetang which was richer and thicker in consistency, and topped with loads of freshly shaved truffle ❤️🫶🏻!! Their OG flavour was much lighter but very comforting 😊~
There’s also NEW MENU ITEMS ✨ like the Jidori Udon 🍜 and the Spicy Dakdoritang. The Jidori udon was surprisingly good and I enjoyed the peppery broth!! 🤭
