DUBack in 2012, Travis Pastrana delivered one of the most extreme stunts ever seen in skydiving by exiting a plane without a parachute.
The act, later aired on Nitro Circus, began with Pastrana stepping out at around 12,500 feet and entering a free fall with no safety gear of his own.
As he dropped, two experienced skydivers closed in on him mid-air, grabbing hold to steady his fall. One of them then secured a reserve parachute onto Pastrana and deployed it before it was too late, with the entire sequence recorded on camera. There were no digital effects or clever edits involved—everything happened exactly as shown. The stunt demanded absolute trust, flawless coordination, and intense adrenaline, cementing Pastrana’s status as one of the boldest stunt performers alive.
