The design is well balanced, being chic and sporty at the same time. The watch is very well made in terms of quality and the movement is a great example of Glashütte watchmaking. Nomos somehow managed to pack a true worldtimer into a sub-10mm case, keep the design clean, and make the functionality incredibly intuitive. On the wrist, it feels like NOMOS confidently stepping into a sportier, more contemporary space without losing its Bauhaus DNA. The silver dial is crisp, balanced, and surprisingly lively in person. Light plays beautifully across its surface, shifting from matte restraint to subtle brilliance depending on the angle. The typography and worldtime scale are pure NOMOS: clean, legible, and thoughtfully spaced. Despite the added complication, the dial never feels cluttered. That’s an achievement in itself for a worldtimer. What impressed me most is how slim and wearable the watch feels. This isn’t just a Zürich Weltzeit in a different case. The movement is thinner, and the revised traveller’s module makes a real difference in daily use. Adjusting time zones feels intuitive, exactly what you want when the whole point of the watch is crossing borders. On the wrist, it sits flat, secure, and comfortable, thanks in part to the Club Sport case design that leans more athletic than anything NOMOS has done before. The silver dial also gives the watch a versatility the darker variants don’t quite match. It works just as well with a jacket cuff as it does with a casual outfit, reinforcing the idea that this is a true everyday worldtimer, not a niche complication piece. Add to that the in-house neomatik movement, the thoughtful redesign, and an extremely competitive price, and it’s easy to understand why this watch drew such unanimous praise since it was released last year. After handling it, the excitement makes sense.
