What aspects of your life have shaped who you are today? The biggest contribution for me is the people I surround myself with and, more precisely, their beautiful positivity✨ Motivational speaker Jim Rohn famously said that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with. I couldn’t agree more with this philosophy. I spend most of my time with only a few people and I see them very often - my family, close friends and my private clients. One thing they all have in common is that they are always positive and this, in turn, reflects on how I approach the world around me. Being calculating does not necessarily mean being devious or harmful. Being calculating with your time for the right reasons is an extremely important factor in making you who you are. Choosing to surround yourself with positive people is the best decision you’ll ever make.🧚🏻‍♀️

〈ヨガとの出会い〉 美容師やヘアメイクとして活躍しながら、2022年にヨガインストラクターの資格を取得したYUNOさん。ヨガとの出会いはどのようなものだったのでしょうか？ ●アシスタント時代は目の前の仕事に必死 アシスタント時代はとにかく今目の前にある仕事をやり続けるしかないと必死。でも、自分が疲れているせいで、相手を癒したいのに、それが十分にできない。自分の気持ちと、やっていることがバラバラで、「何か違う気がする」という気がしていました。 ●体を壊し、ヨガに出会った 自分の気持ちを無視して働き続けた結果、体調を崩してしまった。そこでたまたまヨガに出会い、自分が健康でなければ人に何かしてあげられないと気づきました。 ●大切な人のためにも、まずは自分が健康であること 「人に会う」のは、その人の時間を使うこと。だから、ちゃんと余裕のある、健康な自分でいることが、相手に対してリスペクトを示すことだと思うんです。周りの大切な人のためにも、まずは自分が健康であることを大切にしています。

Marichyasana D - a posture I thought ‘impossible’ I came to Yoga asana without any background in any sort of movement or mobility workouts. I used to run to stay mentally and physically able and I hated to stretch ☺️ When my teacher introduced this posture, I thought of giving up because my body would never be able to fold and twist so deeply. It took 8 months of deep pain ( ankle, knee, hip ) but I kept trying. Repetitive movements and consistent practice got me to Marichyasana D. The daily struggles and intermittent negative self-talk gave me a huge insight into my personality and facets that I had to change. This asana taught me resilience and that ability to ‘let go’. And I don’t regret it one bit 💇🏻‍♀️ Shaving my head was one of the best choices I made in 2024. It might sound silly to some people, but this was a very liberating and eye-opening experience for me. I felt like I was holding onto a lot of excess energy from past versions of myself, and shaving my head was not only a practice of letting go, but also an invitation of welcoming a more empowered and embodied version of myself. Despite the contrary belief, I actually felt/feel more beautiful without my long locks of hair. Maybe it’s just the energy that came with the process of letting go, maybe it’s the way I look, or maybe it’s a mix of it all. But since I was 13 I’ve wanted to do this and I am so proud of myself for listening to the call and taking mindful action in divine timing. I challenge you to be courageous in 2025 and to follow your souls calling, even if you’re afraid. You can do hard things. You can do scary things. You can create a life that empowers you yet fills you with peace and calm. Live bold and move from love.
