Especially in Bangkok and Phuket. Tuk Tuks are fun, but don’t rely on them unless you like paying tourist prices. Alway ask and bargain the price first 🛺💸
3️⃣ Local food is the real deal:
Don’t waste money on fancy places. Night markets and small shops have the best flavors! 🍜✨
4️⃣ Say no to extra sugar and MSG:
Thai food is amazing on its own. Just ask for no sugar or MSG and enjoy it fresh and clean. 🥗
5️⃣ Pack light, trust me:
Island hopping with a heavy suitcase is not fun. Laundry is cheap everywhere — you don’t need much! And we have many cute comfy cloth you can buy here in cheap price. 🎒🏝️

SU#9 is a game-changer ⤵️
Here are 10 things you should leave at home to save space, avoid unnecessary hassle, and travel smarter!
1. Full-size toiletries – Get travel-size bottles to put yours in or choose solid alternatives instead.
2. Too many shoes – Stick to 2-3 pairs max -casual, comfortable, and one dressy if needed and choose ones that you will wear multiple times
3. Bulky towels – Hotels and Vacation rental provide these - if you need one for a beach hopping, choose a Turkish towel or a microfiber travel towel instead since they are lightweight and still absorbent. This is a great option for cruises too.
4. Expensive jewelry – It’s a theft risk and often unnecessary. Stick to a few simple accessories.
5. Heavy books – Bring a Kindle or download audiobooks instead.
6. Excessive outfits – Plan layers and mix-and-match outfits you’ll wear multiple times
7. Bulky Hair styling tools – Most hotels provide dryers, choose a travel-sized straightener or curling iron if you have to - just be sure to have the right converters if traveling internationally
8. Extra purses & bags – A crossbody for daily use and a small foldable bag for travel or while you’re there
✨9. “Just in case” items – If you might need it but probably won’t, leave it behind (you can buy it if necessary). Those extra “just in case”items add up and can be a real hassle. Set a goal to wear or use everything you bring AT LEAST once if not twice.
10. Too many gadgets and chargers – Bring only the charging cords you need, choose and all in one charger for phone/watch/headphones, if you’re traveling with partner/family - bring along one converter and then a power strip for multiple devices

DEHow to pack CARRY ON only! 🧚♀️
2 months, 6 countries, one carry on bag ✅
With all the airline shortages, everyone’s bags are getting lost! Consider carry on only 💪🏽
TIPS:
• Thin smaller clothes
• Wear your thickest layers
• Use packing cubes (mine are from @misiasperoviajeras )
• Get an expandable suitcase for overflow! (my current one is not expandable but it still worked!)
• Borrow friends clothes in local places 👗
• Don’t pack what you won’t wear “just in case”
• Pack with a friend, they can help you decide!
• Put liquids in smaller containers, not the original huge ones 💦
This trip is to:
1.) Jamaica 🇯🇲 to host a @dearalyneretreats
2.) Los Angeles 🇺🇸 to host DAR Creator Camp

CASteal my easy formula for planning a travel capsule wardrobe.
➡️ It’s just simple math: 3 tops + 3 bottoms + 3 outer layers + 2 pairs of shoes = 27 outfit combos!

‼️ Ok, I’ll admit—after a while, the outfits can start to look a little repetitive. BUT the point stands: if you plan ahead and pick pieces that all mix and match, your outfit options will feel endless.
⭐️ Why I chose these pieces:
➡️ The Tops: Each one is a great warm-weather top that looks cute worn alone, BUT if it gets cool, they are easy to layer over.
➡️ The Bottoms: All three are summer-friendly fabrics - the skirt is linen, and both pants are a lightweight cotton-linen blend. And yes, these are my favorite style of pants…I might have them in every color. They are comfortable and come in different lengths.
➡️ The Outer Layers: I chose 3 varying weights - a very lightweight chambray denim, a lightweight cream sweater, and a slightly cozier black sweater.
➡️ The Shoes: I love the retro stripes on the sneakers (yes, even with a skirt!) and the sandal is one of my “tried and true” best travel companions. They are “walk-in-all-day” comfortable!
For size reference, I’m 5’4”.
