YOEchternach during summer is just 👌🏼 perfection.
What we show here in the video is only a tiny portion of the lake. And not even the city itself or other activities around.
We will post about them, but you already have a few in the “north” highlight on our profile.
📍for the playground :
The lake is quite big and you have a few spots where kids can play. You aim for the one in the video, type “Adventure Playground Echternach” and do not trust the other playground’s photos. We got fooled the first time we ever went haha.
🅿️ Parking du Lac is the closest. There’s even a delhaize in front of it if you want to organise a last minute picnic.
🚽public toilets right in front of the playground
📍for the pedalo and bar :
Type in Google “De grénge Schapp” and follow the signs. You have to cross a small bridge when you get there. And they showcase how much it costs for the pedalo.
🅿️ if you went to the playground, no need to move. But if you want, or just go for the pedalo, you can aim for the youth hostel and drive past. Tiny bit further on your right you have a parking.
🚽 again, public toilets available in front of the bar.
