You’ve got the 3.5L EcoBoost — already a strong engine on its own — but then you add in the electric motor and 3.73 gears, and the result is instant torque and a truck that MOVES. We’re talking about a nearly 6,000 lb half-ton doing 0–60 in around 5 seconds… which is honestly kind of wild.
Now look — I get why some people are hesitant about these hybrid trucks. They’re more complex, and long-term reliability is still a question mark for some owners. But purely from a performance standpoint? You can’t deny it… this setup is seriously impressive.
