As I’m setting up the #3dprinting space in my new shop I decided to build in a detail that has made life much easier. These pull out bases are super convenient for getting behind my gargantuan @bambulab_official H2D and H2S machines. No they don’t affect printing at all but I am going to add a small latch to the front of each pull out to keep them securely locked in place.

ALAnother 10 minutes at my toy production passed just as quickly as the last 2 years that I’ve been 3D printing and trying to grow my workshop to a more or less large scale. Right now, I have more than 25 printers, and by the end of the year this number will probably reach around 40, since 7 more printers are arriving next week.
Recently, I calculated how much I’ve produced during this time, and the number came out to over 1 ton — that’s more than 30,000 finished toys. I hope the toys I’ve already created have brought joy to those who own them now, and I truly hope that my future toys will continue to make people happy.

Life of a 3D print operator? A mix of tech, patience, and plastic magic.
☀️ Start the day by launching the printers: load models, check filament, preheat beds.
👀 Then comes the monitoring — watching for spaghetti, layer shifts, and other printer drama.
⏳ Wait. A lot. Sometimes with coffee, sometimes with crossed fingers.
🧹 While machines work, it’s cleanup time: plastic scraps, support bits, dust everywhere.
🔧 If something breaks (and it will), we fix it — new nozzle, clean extruder, maybe even a firmware ritual.
🖐 Finally, post-process: remove prints, trim supports, clean up, make it look nice.
Repeat daily. Turn filament into ideas. 🔁
