⁨ ⁨ ⁨ English below👇🏻 קודם כל שמרו את המתכון. מבטיח זה שווה את זה. דבר שני- כשאתם מכינים- שמרו את המי חומוס, מחר אני מעלה לכם בדיוק מה להכין עם זה🫶🏽 חטיף חלבון. 🌱רכיב אחד. 🌱 2 דק עבודה. 🌱 סופר בריא, משביע וטעים. פותחים פחית שימורי חומוס. שופכים למסננת ושומרים את הנוזל של החומוס(חשוב). שוטפים את החומוס ומעבירים לתבנית לאייר פרייר(מטגן אויר- לא חובה נינג׳ה , כל מטגן אויר יעבוד מתבלנים- אני שמתי פפריקה מעושנת, שום, מלח, מעט שמן זית וראס אל חנות למעט ארומה מתוקה. 150 מעלות- בערך חצי שעה אבל תלוי במכשיר שלכם יכול להיות יותר, ממליץ לבדוק לאחר חצי שעה ולאחר מכן כל 10 דקות לראות שלא נשרף. המרקם- קראנצי מבחוץ, מעט פריך מבפנים. נשמר על המדף עד שבועיים. בתאבון🌱🫶🏽 First of all—save this recipe. I promise, it’s worth it. Second—when you make it, keep the chickpea water. Tomorrow I’ll show you exactly what to do with it 🫶🏽 Protein snack. 🌱 One ingredient. 🌱 2 minutes of prep. 🌱 Super healthy, filling, and delicious. Take a can of chickpeas. Drain them through a strainer and save the chickpea liquid (important!). Rinse the chickpeas and transfer them to an air fryer basket (any air fryer works—not just Ninja). Season them—I used smoked paprika, garlic, salt, a little olive oil, and ras el hanout for a subtle sweet aroma. Air fry at 150°C (300°F) for about 30 minutes. This depends on your device, so I recommend checking after 30 minutes and then every 10 minutes to make sure they don’t burn. Texture: crispy on the outside, slightly tender on the inside. Keeps at room temperature for up to two weeks. Enjoy 🌱🫶🏽 #chickpea #protein #snack #proteinsnack⁩⁩⁩

Long caption rant Lately I’ve been feeling like the pursuit of perfect macros, getting “enough” of the “right stuff”. Hitting protein goals and ensuring a comprehensive supplement regime has taken us away from real food. I spent the past week sampling every protein snack you could imagine and I’ve never felt worse. Sometimes it feels like we’re being sold doomsday bunker food with the idea that it’s somehow better for us? I’m lucky to live near an abundance of fresh produce and have gone to culinary school but to me I feel best when I’m eating REAL FOOD. Not raspberry snickerdoodle bars with an inexplicable 20g of protein. Fresh cooked meals, local fruits and vegetables, nuts and grains, big stews and saucy pastas, a loaded yogurt bowl from my favorite restaurant, a thick turkey sandwich from Luke’s local. When did this become bad? I get my flu shots, listen to my doctor when they recommend something, but other than that I try to eat as much cooked real food as possible. I’m just ranting but something it feels like we’re getting away from real food in the pursuit of “good macros”

📌Save For: Fake Protein Snacks vs Real Protein Snacks I hate to break it to you, but your protein snack may not be as protein-rich as you think. I’m separating the ‘real’ protein snacks from the ‘fake’ protein snacks today! For my protein -rich snack list: 1. Like this Post 2. Comment ‘Protein’ Please note that all of these snacks are all great and nutrient-rich but there are ones that are simply higher in protein than others and therefore will likely provide better satiety and be more efficient at helping us meet our protein goals. 🌰Fake Protein Snack 1: Trail Mix! Trail mixes are super filling and nourishing but not exactly protein-rich as the main ingredients (nuts and dried fruit usually) aren’t that high in protein. ✅Swap 1: Edamame-Based Trail Mix: If you picked up a trail mix with edamame as the main ingredient, the protein content will be double or triple compared to one with mostly nuts and seeds! 🫘Fake Protein Snack 2: Hummus! Again, hummus is an amazing snack and great dip/sandwich addition etc but honestly - not high in protein. We’re looking at 2-3 g of protein per 2 tbsp serving. ✅Swap 2: Roasted Beans: If you’re wanting to hit your protein goal a bit better, snacking on roasted lentils/chickpeas/fava beans instead of hummus will give you 4 x the amount of protein that hummus has. 🥜Fake Protein Snack 3: Peanut Butter! Peanut butter only has 3-4 g of protein per 15 g serving, which is about 90-100 calories. It’s still a nourishing addition to your meals or snacks, but to make a better protein-rich choice try: ✅Swap 3: Peanut Butter Powder! You will get double the amount of protein for that 15 g serving.
