The Ultimate Raspberry Pi: Portable, Modular, and Powerful 🛜 This is my 100% portable Raspberry Pi 5 build: 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD storage, battery powered, and designed for real-world wireless research, testing, and lab work. The Pi runs completely untethered from wall power using an external battery pack, connects over VNC from my phone or laptop, and uses a dedicated Wi-Fi adapter so management, connectivity, and wireless testing stay cleanly separated. Everything is tied together through a compact UniFi 5-port switch, keeping the setup stable, modular, and expandable. For internet access, I pair it with a Verizon Inseego 5G router, which keeps the entire rig mobile while still maintaining solid upstream connectivity. Pairs nicely when experimenting with Evil Twin Wi-Fi “fun”. 🙃 And now the real question… 👉 What would YOU add to make this even stronger? - More radios? Better antennas? - Displays?
