WEНа відео показано процес «розкриття» або «вивертання» пелюсток троянди (техніка reflexing), якою ділиться флорист Габо (@gabodelasflores).
Згідно з інструкцією на екрані («Dobla de forma vertical en el centro del pétalo» — ісп. «зігніть вертикально в центрі пелюстки»), техніка полягає в наступному:
Підготовка: Зазвичай для цього використовують троянди, які вже трохи постояли в теплі, щоб пелюстки стали еластичними й не ламалися.
Дія: Потрібно акуратно взяти зовнішню пелюстку за край і зробити невеликий вертикальний залом (складку) посередині, вивертаючи її назовні.
Результат: Це дозволяє створити об'ємний, пишний вигляд квітки, роблячи звичайну троянду схожою на садову або піоноподібну.
Такі маніпуляції часто використовуються флористами для створення ефектних букетів у сучасному стилі

BLTulip season always brings out one of my favorite little flower tricks: reflexing the petals to open it up and show the full beauty of the flower.
If you’ve never tried it, it’s simple: gently fold each petal back, one at a time, opening the flower wider than it would naturally sit. This works better when the flowers are room temperature. The bloom suddenly becomes bigger, wilder, almost star-shaped.
Another little trick: if you want a soft bend in the stem, rub the stem between your warm hands for a few seconds first. Again, best to not to this when the flowers are cold but rather room temp. The warmth relaxes it just enough that you can guide it into a gentle curve without snapping it, which means better and more natural looking arrangements.
Flowers are tougher (and yet more flexible) than they look. I think as people, we can be the same way. We grow layers to protect ourselves, (often for good reason). But every now and then, something beautiful happens when we slowly open a little more.
Just like the tulips. 🌷 ❤️
