I used to think that only the elderly will fall victim to scams but scammers are so smart these days that it makes it so hard to differentiate what’s real and not anymore. Time to protect myself with the ScamShield app!🛡 Here are some benefits of the app: 1. Block & Filter calls and SMSes from known scam numbers that are flagged in the ScamShield database 2. Users can check if a message, link or number is a scam 3. Users can report a message, link or number as scam. (ADD) Use the ScamShield app to block scam calls and filter scam SMSes and use the Money Lock feature in your bank account to secure a portion of your savings (I swear by this!) (CHECK) Check for scam signs and with official sources. Since 1 July 2024, all SMSes from government agencies use a single gov.sg SMS Sender ID. (TELL) Call your bank IMMEDIATELY and make a police report if you think you’ve fallen victim to a scam.
