To explain the actual money-making part..basically “players” or “users” can purchase game dollars to spend in @secondlife, and when they come shopping at my store, I get those game dollars which I can then cash out to *real* dollars —> straight to the bank! I discovered Second Life when I was 19 years old and it was how I made a living for about 8 years until I stopped to pursue photography and travel! SA🕊️ Inter-Faith Practice | Queer Voices in Sacred Spaces 🌈🎶
I recently had the honour of performing at an Inter-Faith Practice space—one that opens up dialogue between belief systems, spiritual traditions, and embodied truths. In this sacred confluence, I chose to perform “Hai Bhagwan Mujhko Toh Zindagi Dubara De” by Raghu Dixit—a song that aches with the longing for renewal, for life to begin again, this time with dignity and choice.
As a queer person, the cry for a "second life" hits differently. It echoes every time we are forced to hide, every time we are denied acceptance, every time the world tells us we do not belong in the sacred. But here, in this space of many faiths, I reclaimed that cry—not as desperation, but as resistance. Not as weakness, but as devotion.
💫 What does it mean for a queer body to ask the divine for rebirth?
To me, it’s not just about religion—it’s about reclaiming the right to be sacred, to be heard, to be healed.
Through this performance, I wanted to explore how queerness itself can be a form of faith—fluid, evolving, questioning, but deeply rooted in love and truth. My voice became an offering. My body became the prayer. The song became the bridge between my queerness and the divine—between who I was told to be, and who I know I am.
Thank you to the curators of Inter-Faith Practice for allowing queer spirituality to breathe, to sing, and to be witnessed.
🌈 To every queer soul who has ever felt exiled from divinity—this was for you. You deserve a second life. You are already holy.
