What pulls you down is simply what has accumulated over time. Think of consciousness like depth in water. The higher levels feel lighter, clearer, and more expansive. Fulfilment, creativity, joy, and aligned action all exist there. What keeps most people from staying in those states is not a lack of effort. It is the unseen weight they are carrying. Unprocessed emotions, inherited beliefs, and unresolved experiences act like energetic anchors. They quietly pull awareness downward, shaping perception, behaviour, and outcomes without ever announcing themselves. The moment those anchors are brought into awareness, they begin to loosen. Energy that was stuck returns to you, and rising becomes natural again. This is why shadow work creates real change.
