The Root Cause of Sinusitis That Most People Do Not Even Know Sinusitis is often brushed off as seasonal or environmental, but the true cause goes deeper. In many cases, it’s actually strep bacteria hiding in the sinuses. When the immune system is weakened, strep can flare, creating painful and chronic symptoms and conditions including sinusitis, UTIs, acne, conjunctivitis, sore throats, ear infections, otitis media, congestion, dry eyes, and more. This is why sinusitis can feel so stubborn and recurring. When you know it’s strep, you can finally begin to address the real issue and give your body what it needs to heal. Comment SINUS below if you want to learn how to address strep at the root.

Facial cupping isn’t just for beauty! It is also a gentle, natural way to ease sinus congestion. The light suction helps the sinuses drain, releasing pressure and moving mucus away. Apply a good oil like prickly pear seed oil, add a drop of eucalyptus essential oil if you like, and spend a few minutes morning and evening for relief. It’s also a very relaxing ritual for children. Comment GENTLE to get your set.

Comment REMEDY and I’ll send you my go-to Ayurvedic tea that clears congestion + supports your lungs naturally 🌿 Made with Ajwain (Carom Seeds) and a few simple spices, it helps to:
 • Open up airflow + relieve chest congestion
 • Expel mucus from sinuses
 • Support faster recovery from coughs + colds My mum has given me this since I was little — and I still swear by it every flu season.
Simple, natural, and it actually works.

Comment “cranial” to learn more about my cranial sacral and nervous system course Your sinuses aren’t just clogged. They’re compressed. This simple reset works because it does 3 things at once: • Gently restores nasal airflow • Signals safety to the nervous system • Vibrates and drains pressure from the cranial system How to do it: 1. Plug one nostril lightly 2. Inhale 4 seconds through the open side 3. Exhale 6 seconds — slow and controlled 4. Repeat for 6 breaths 5. On the last exhale, hum as loud as you can That hum isn’t random. It stimulates the vagus nerve, mobilizes the sinus cavities, and helps the cranial bones decompress. Most people feel: • Instant airflow • Less facial pressure • Calmer mind • Easier breathing • A spontaneous sigh or swallow No force. No aggressive breathing. No nasal sprays. This is nervous system–led sinus release. I teach deeper cranial work inside my Cranial sacral & nervous system Course, including facial drainage, CSF flow, jaw–sinus connection, and pressure headaches. Comment “cranial” and I’ll send you the details. #sinusrelief #vagusnerve #mindfulmovemend

#JalNeti - (nasal irrigation with warm salt water) - A part of the #Shatkarma yogic kriyas I have been doing jalneti for years & i feel my skin feels more radiant.. i don’t fall ill very often .. so it’s definitely boosted my immunity too It also Helps keep the sinuses, nasal tract and the throat free from infection hence keeping the eyes free from congestion and strain, to improves vision. I have already put a reel of my 3 step morning routine coupla weeks ago ) Along with that, I add this kriya 2 to 3 times a week .. It eradicates any type of bacteria and dirt that is trapped in the nostril with mucus. PREP - Mix 2 teaspoons of sea salt or rock salt ( not iodised salt ) into 2 cups of purified warm water. This ratio is important so as not to irritate the sensitive nasal tissues. The temperature of water is warm .. almost like the temperature of our blood ! After jalneti, #kapalabhati kriya (each nostril separately + both together too .. & a light massage ) MUST be performed - as shown in the video to drain the sinuses or it can give a headache Avoid if the you already have cold, cough, sinusitis or have undergone a recent ear or nose surgery. Avoid drinking water or eating anything till about half an hour after you have done jalneti. For an asthmatic patient, it will cleanse the breathing passage giving them an easier way to breathe. Your concentration levels can improve if you perform Jala Neti early morning BEGINNERS DO THIS ONLY UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF A TRAINED YOGA TEACHER I normally do it in the bathroom sink .. it was just easier to shoot here on my own early morn .. so don’t judge ! #vidyamalavade #kriya #Shatkarma #yogickriya #kapalbhati #jalneti #nasalirrigation #radiantskin #immunity

😵‍💫 STRESSED OUT = MUCUS UP 🤧 Most people think congestion starts in the sinuses…But the REAL origin? 👉 Your GUT. 😬When you’re under chronic stress, your immune system gets SUPPRESSED. That gives opportunistic pathogens (inflammatory bacteria 🦠, Candida, parasites, viruses) the green light to take over your gut + sinuses. ➡️Your body’s defense response? It produces MUCUS to try to trap and kill them. And here’s the wild part…🤯 The congestion in your sinuses often STARTS in your gut. If you’re dealing with constant mucus, post-nasal drip, or throat congestion…this will change how you see your symptoms.‼️ Your mucus isn’t random. It’s a MESSAGE from your gut. 💬 👇 Comment “TEA” and I’ll DM you my alkalizing sinus mucus detox tea. ☕✨

Even your nasal mucus can give small clues about what’s going on in your body. Clear, thin mucus usually indicates normal hydration and healthy sinuses. Thick white mucus can suggest mild congestion or dehydration. Yellow or green mucus often appears when your immune system is responding to an infection, as white blood cells change its color. Very dry or crusty mucus may signal dry air or insufficient fluid intake. Bloody mucus can happen from irritation, frequent blowing, or very dry nasal passages. Persistent changes, strong odor, or long-lasting congestion may signal allergies, infection, or sinus inflammation. Occasional changes are normal, especially with weather or colds. Staying hydrated and using humidified air can help maintain healthy nasal passages. Save this as a simple sinus health check-in. Via health.habits12/tt

Clear sinuses = clearer nervous system. Facial tension is often a sign of control under pressure. When the face softens, the brain receives the message: you are safe enough to breathe. This simple sinus sequence improves airflow, drains stagnation, and resets the stress response. No force. No rush. Just circulation. Save this. And breathe like you mean it. A simple, old-school support for sinus congestion 👣✨ A mustard powder foot bath has been used for generations to help encourage circulation and relieve sinus pressure. The warming effect helps draw blood flow downward, which can take some of the pressure off the head and sinuses. How to do it: • Fill a basin with warm (not hot) water • Add 1–2 tablespoons mustard powder • Soak feet for 10–15 minutes • Rinse feet well and dry • Rest after and stay warm Many people notice easier breathing and a sense of release through the sinuses afterward. Simple, inexpensive, and surprisingly effective when you’re feeling stuffy. Save this for the next time congestion hits 🤍 Want more info?
