If you do cardio beforehand, you'll already be tired: you'll lift lighter weights, have less control over your repetitions, and progress will be slower. ➡️ After 40, progressing in strength means staying lean, defined, and solid. 2) Your cardio becomes more efficient. After weight training, your heart rate rises faster for the same level of effort. This means that in 10-20 minutes, you can achieve a significant effect in less time... especially with: walking uphill, RPM cycling, or using an escalator.
