Days of repetition. One thing that I’ve had to be confident in is logging the actual hours it takes to complete a build. At the beginning of all of this, I didn’t consider my time as very valuable, but building a table by hand is both time-consuming and detail heavy. Could I use a machine joiner and planer? Yes. But the ability to hand pick and hand shape each piece is probably my favorite part.
