For babies, use the core of the pineapple, cut it in “sticks” and keep it in the refrigerator. When you feel like your baby has any discomfort from teething, give it to them- it’s easy for them to hold onto and gnaw on! Better than a silicone ring or any toy you will buy and actually has benefits!
It can also improve digestion and help with constipation especially important in babies who are just starting solids!

They are going through the 3-4 Month Leap!
⭐️The 3–4 month stage is huge for change and development! You’re officially coming out of the newborn stage and your baby is waking up to the world, more aware, and much more interactive
But… this stage can also feel confusing 😅 Cues get trickier, and lots of things start to look the same
A lot of the NORMAL things that babies do at this age can look like teething… and although some babies do teeth at this age, it is typically just a normal developmental leap!
1️⃣ Fussiness - This age often needs a little extra attention to stay content. Their brains are growing fast, they’re learning so much, and it can feel overwhelming (especially for sensitive babies)
2️⃣ Gumming or Chewing - With the loss of the newborn suck reflex, babies start to chew on toys, blankets or anything they can grab! This doesnt mean TEETHING!
3️⃣ Hand Obsession - You’ll see lots of hand play. They’re discovering how to move their hands, bring them to their mouth, and sometimes suck or chew on fingers. This doesn’t always mean hunger!
4️⃣ Drooling - Drooling increases around this age and it’s totally normal!
5️⃣ Sleep Disruptions - Yep… this can be the start of the 4-month sleep regression. More night wakings, short naps, harder settling
6️⃣ Fussy Feeding - Many babies become more distracted during feeds, get impatient if milk flow is slow, or start gumming the breast or bottle instead of sucking
❤️All of these - drooling, fussiness, chewing, hands in the mouth, sleep hiccups, and feeding changes - can look like teething…but they’re also completely typical for a 4-month-old!

At this stage, it’s completely normal to see:
• Increased drooling
• Chewing on hands
• More fussiness
• Wanting to put everything in their mouth
Their little body is preparing for something big 🥹
Tiny teeth are beginning to press against the gums, and chewing helps relieve that discomfort.
💛 How to support them:
✔️ Offer safe teethers (even better if slightly chilled)
✔️ Clean their little hands often
✔️ Gently wipe gums with a damp gauze
✔️ Extra patience and cuddles
Remember: it’s not a “bad habit.”
